Under Gary Winkler’s Globaldale Management, Dooyah! flourished on the R&B and live band circuit across the UK.  Working with big names like Fast Freddie & The Fingertips, The Boogie Brothers Blues Band, The Bay City Rollers and Georgie Flame and the Blue Flames, Dooyah! appearances included The 100 Club, Dingwalls, The Town & Country Club, The Mean Fiddler and The Cliff’s Pavilion.

They headlined at The Herald Of Free Enterprise Disaster Festival and recorded with Stevie Wonder’s producer Malcolm Cecil.  Radio appearances and play across the UK culminated in Essex Radio’s Roger Dexter co-producing their 1987 AA sided single ‘Love’s Where You Find It/Spend! Spend! Spend!’.

Dooyah! songwriter Gary Thompson had previously had chart success in the 70′s band Tonight.  Dave Dulake currently fronts Virgo Intacta.  2008 saw Dooyah! featured on BBC television’s Inside Out.  The live tracks In Praise Of Older Women and Wear It Out were written by Gary Thompson.
